TL;DR
Home Depot has introduced a holiday sweater bundle priced at $29.99, with seven listed tools and accessories plus a $50 peppermint-scented gift card. ToolGuyd calculated the listed tool and accessory prices at about $119, before counting the sweater or gift card. The special online shop was scheduled to open Oct. 1, with another sale opportunity on Oct. 15.
Home Depot has launched a $29.99 holiday sweater bundle that includes a selection of tools and accessories, along with a $50 peppermint-scented gift card. The retailer’s special online shop was scheduled to open at 11 a.m. ET on Oct. 1, 2026, with another opportunity listed for Oct. 15, according to ToolGuyd’s report.
The bundle pairs a holiday-themed, unisex sweater with seven listed tools and accessories: a Husky 6-in-1 screwdriver, 25-foot tape measure and 8-inch slip-joint pliers; a Husky rechargeable wide-angle headlamp; a DEWALT 9-inch torpedo level; Command clear outdoor light clips; and a Milwaukee mechanical pencil with a 10-pack of lead. The sweater has built-in apron-style pockets intended to hold tools, the report said. Sizes are listed from XS through XXL.
ToolGuyd reported individual retail prices totaling about $119 for the listed tools and accessories, using prices current at the time of its article. Adding the $50 gift card gives a stated package value above the $29.99 purchase price, before assigning any value to the sweater. Home Depot was described as promoting the contents as worth more than $150; ToolGuyd’s calculation separates the tools and accessories from the gift card rather than treating the full claim as tool value.
The item is not being sold through Home Depot’s regular store listing, according to ToolGuyd. The report said the retailer set up a dedicated pop-up shop for the release. Home Depot’s holiday-themed mini bucket was also scheduled to launch on Oct. 1, but the source did not provide further details about that item.
A Gift Card Drives the Bundle Value
The listed contents make the offer relevant to shoppers comparing holiday gifts, homeowner supplies and seasonal novelty merchandise. At $29.99, the package is priced below the report’s combined figures for the tools, accessories and gift card. The gift card alone has a stated $50 face value, though buyers may want to check its terms and how it can be used before treating that amount as equivalent to cash.
The price comparison depends on the reported individual retail prices, which may not match every store, later listing or shopper’s own valuation. The bundle also combines products from several brands, so its usefulness will vary by recipient and task. For shoppers who already need some of the listed items, the assortment may have practical appeal; for others, the sweater and seasonal presentation may be the main draw.
The release is also notable as a limited, time-specific online offer rather than a standard in-store promotion. A dedicated pop-up and a second scheduled sale date mean shoppers need to check availability through the linked shop, rather than assume the bundle can be picked up at a local Home Depot.

How the Bundle’s Value Was Counted
ToolGuyd’s report described the sweater as a “one-of-kind limited edition novelty sweater,” attributing that wording to Home Depot. Its listed component prices were $8 for the screwdriver, $10 for the tape measure, $14 for the pliers, $39 for the headlamp, $23 for the level, $10 for the light clips and $15 for the pencil-and-lead set. Those figures add up to about $119 in tools and accessories.
The report then identified a separate $50 Home Depot gift card, putting the stated components and card together above $150, not counting the sweater. This distinction matters when interpreting the advertised value: the source’s own calculation does not say the tools and accessories alone are worth more than $150. ToolGuyd disclosed that it might receive an affiliate commission if readers bought through its links.
The schedule provided in the report is specific to the 2026 release: the pop-up shop was due to open on Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. ET, with another opportunity on Oct. 15. The source does not give a year-round product listing or say that the sweater would be available in Home Depot stores.

Availability and Sale Terms Still Need Checking
The source provides scheduled sale dates but does not confirm whether the Oct. 1 offering sold out, how many units were available or whether the Oct. 15 opportunity remains open. Readers should check the special shop for current stock and checkout terms rather than assume the dates guarantee availability.
The report also does not specify gift-card restrictions, shipping costs, return rules or whether every size will be offered during each sale window. Its component prices are described as retail prices at the time of publication, not as independently verified current prices. Home Depot’s advertised valuation and ToolGuyd’s itemized estimate should therefore be understood as reported figures, not a guarantee of what a shopper could recover by buying or reselling the contents separately.

Check the Pop-Up Shop for Updates
The next step for shoppers is to consult Home Depot’s dedicated online shop for the sweater’s live availability, sizes, shipping details and gift-card terms. ToolGuyd listed a second sale opportunity for Oct. 15, 2026, but did not confirm how long the offer would remain available or whether quantities would be replenished.
Home Depot may also provide more information about the companion holiday mini bucket through its seasonal listings. Until the retailer publishes additional terms or stock updates, the quantity available, the status of each sale window and any purchase limits remain unconfirmed in the source material.
